We trekked half of the Tongariro pass with a wonderful guide called Olivia. I cannot fault her skill and professionalism enough, and to cap it all she was considerate and friendly too! We were so lucky to be guided by her, and really enjoyed our day.
The pass it’s is stunningly beautiful and not too much of a challenge for an averagely fit 6o+ year old to do. It’s an experience we’ll never forget.
