''My brother and I did the Tongariro Alpine crossing with Terry yesterday, and what an absolutely amazing experience it was. From beginning to end Terry was not only incredibly knowledgeable but passionate about everything related to the crossing, both geologically and historically.
My brother and I had never done a hike like this before and while it was challenging at times (the walk to the summit left our calves feeling rather tender the following day), Terry was supportive and patient as we made our way to the summit.
